From Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
Less than fifty pages stand between me and the conquering of Infinite Jest. It feels weird after spending so much time with this book and its characters for it to be coming to an end and I’m really trying to savor these final pages. This book has made me laugh, feel frustrated and disgusted; it has amazed me, shocked me and taught me many wonderful things; it has painted moments vivid, honest, and beautiful; it is everything I could have wanted from a book. I honestly cannot stress enough how important this book (and its writer) is to literature. This book is a challenge and a journey that every reader should embark on.
